Jim Ryan, PartnerJim Ryan is an accomplished investor relations, corporate governance and corporate communications professional. From 1993-2006, Ryan was Corporate Vice President, Investor Relations for Lockheed Martin Corporation (aerospace, defense, government IT).  At Lockheed Martin, Jim served on the Corporate Governance, Disclosure Controls, and Employee Benefit Plan Investment committees.

Jim previously served on the board of directors of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council to the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB).

From 2006-2009, Ryan was Vice President, Finance & Business Operations (CFO) for Lockheed Martin’s Enterprise Operations business area.  From 1998 to 1999, he was also Corporate Vice President - Financial Strategies, with responsibilities for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Earlier in his career, Ryan held several management positions at TW Services (food services/restaurants), JWP INC. (facility construction/maintenance, information systems, environmental remediation—company is now EMCOR Group) and Public Service Enterprise Group (electric and gas utility, electricity generation).  His areas of responsibility included investor relations, corporate communications, corporate finance, treasury, cash management and employee benefit plan investment management.

Ryan's work has involved acquisitions, divestitures, disclosure policies, hostile takeovers, IPO’s/spin-offs, crisis communications, major corporate restructurings, dividend policy, shareholder activists, proxy fights and corporate governance policy changes.
